MK Dons head to Oxford United on Saturday hoping not only for their first away win since September, but their first-ever league win at the Kassam Stadium.

Though there are 46 miles separating the grounds, there have only been six meetings between the sides down the years and there is nothing to tell between them - each side have two wins, with two draws as well.

Former Dons manager Karl Robinson lines up in the Oxford dugout after being nominated for manager of the month for February, but he has not got the better of his former paymasters since Charlton were 2-1 winners at Stadium MK in February 2018.

Joe Mason scored the only goal of the game when the sides last met back in December in what was Russell Martin’s first game in charge.

It will be a tough task for Dons though, with Oxford having won their last five games as their charge towards the automatic promotion spot has lifted them to third in the standings.

Tim Robinson takes charge of the game on Saturday - his 28th game of the campaign. He has dished out 82 yellow cards and just one red this season. Spending most of his time in the Championship, Mr Robinson last took charge of MK Dons November 2017 during Dons' 1-1 draw with Southend at Stadium MK. Ian Cooper and Michael George will run the lines, and Tom Reeves will be the fourth official.

The bookmakers have Oxford at 7/10 to win, Dons at 15/4 and 14/5 the draw.
