MK Dons will play their fourth away game in a row on Saturday and will be eager to maintain their recent run of form when they take on Peterborough United.

Dons have not lost since before Christmas, beating Bristol Rovers and Swindon Town in the league, taking Premier League Burnley to a penalty shoot-out at Turf Moor in the FA Cup and then beating Northampton Town in the Papa John's Trophy on Tuesday night.

Russell Martin's side only played Posh a month ago, losing just once in that time as they sit 16th in the standings. Peterborough meanwhile are fifth despite playing just twice due to Covid postponements, drawing with Lincoln City in the league last Saturday before thrashing Portsmouth 5-1 in the Papa John's Trophy.

There have been plenty of meetings between the sides down the years, with Saturday's game to be the 28th game since 2004. Peterborough just edge the overall stats, with 12 wins to Dons' 10 with five draws. When the sides met a month ago, Cameron Jerome's goal 12 minutes from time cancelled out Johnson Clarke-Harris' first half header to share the spoils in a game Dons dominated.

Marc Edwards takes charge of the game on Saturday, his 17th appearance of the season. He has booked 56 players but sent none off this campaign. He took charge of Dons' 1-0 defeat at Blackpool back in October. Grant Taylor and Geoffrey Russell will run the lines, with the fourth official Carl Brook.

The bookmakers have Peterborough at 5/4 to win, Dons at 9/4 and 12/5 the draw.
