The 1-0 win at The Valley at the start of December helped spark a rejuvenation of the season for MK Dons.

In the 11 games since December 2, Russell Martin's side have lost just three times to sit 15th in League One, looking more and more a comfortable midtable side as the weeks go by.

Charlton meanwhile have found wins hard to come by since their defeat to Dons, with two in their last 10 outings, drawing five and losing three as they lost touch with the pacesetters atop the table, though they remain sixth. Their games tend to be packed with goals too, having seen a 5-2 win, a 4-4 draw and recently coming from 2-0 down against Swindon on Saturday to salvage a point.

Since the first meeting between the sides in 2009, there have been 17 games, with little to tell between them. Dons have won six of them, Charlton seven and four draws. The last game at Stadium MK was a 3-0 win for Paul Tisdale's Dons in the EFL Cup.

Dons hope to welcome back David Kasumu and Louis Thompson from injury for the game, while could also hand debuts to Harry Darling and Matt O'Riley, both who signed for the club over the weekend.

Dean Whitestone takes charge of the game at Stadium MK, his 20th outing of the season. Usually spotted in the Championship, the referee has booked 34 and sent off one this term. Dons last saw him in charge of their 2018 Boxing Day defeat to Cheltenham Town. Adam Crysell and Adrian Waters will run the lines, and the Fourth Official is Matthew Jones.

Bookmakers have Dons at 5/4 to claim victory over the Addicks, while Charlton are 11/5, and the draw is 12/5.

Kick-off is at 7pm.
