Dons want to put right one of their worst performances of the season when they take on Crewe Alexandra at Stadium MK.

When the sides met back in September, Russell Martin's side turned in a dismal showing at the Alexandra Stadium and were 2-0 down in 20 minutes - a scoreline they could not turn around.

Dons come into the game in 12th place, off the back of four straight wins but didn't play on Good Friday after a Covid outbreak at opponents Lincoln City. Crewe meanwhile have lost three and won two of their last five. They suffered late heartbreak against Hull City on Friday when Mallik Wilks netted in stoppage time for the league leaders to claim a 2-1 win. It left them 15th in League One, three points behind Dons with two games in hand.

There have been 12 meetings between the teams, but Dons have to look back to 2015 for their last win over the Railwaymen and the 5-0 win in Cheshire. Crewe have won five of the meetings, Dons four and there have been three draws.

Andy Woolmer takes charge of the game at Stadium MK. In 28 games so far, he's dished out 84 yellow cards and just one red. His last Dons game was more than three years ago when he oversaw the 2-0 win over Yeovil in March 2019. Robert Hyde and Nigel Lugg will run the lines, with Fourth Official Michael George.

Bookmakers have Dons at 23/30 to win, Crewe are 11/5 and the draw is 13/5.
