It may be early in the campaign, but MK Dons search for their first win of the season will be a tough ask against league leaders Ipswich this weekend.

One of three teams to have made a 100 per cent start to the 2020/21 season, the Tractorboys sit atop the table after three games, losing only in cup competitions so far. Dons meanwhile have picked up just a point in League One - on the opening day of the season away at Doncaster - and suffered back-to-back defeats since, leaving them 22nd in the table.

Paul Lambert's side have had Dons' card marked down the years too. Ipswich have won all three previous league meetings between the sides, while Dons' sole victory came in a penalty shoot-out back in August 2007 in the League Cup following a 3-3 draw. Last season, Jon Nolan's early goal at Stadium MK was enough to separate the sides in September. The reverse fixture at Portman Road was set to be Dons' last game of the campaign.

October sparks a busy month for both clubs, with Dons playing seven times and Ipswich eight to cram in the games lost during August.

The bookmakers have Dons at 21/10 to win the game, Ipswich 6/5 and 5/2 the draw.
