Sunderland and MK Dons are just two wins away from a date at Wembley and the final of the Papa John's Trophy.

The Black Cats head to Stadium MK for the third time looking to extend their 100 per cent, having won in both of their previous visits. In fact, Dons' win at the Stadium of Light when the sides last met back in November is their only win, having lost the other four games.

The Mackems beat Port Vale 2-0 in the last round to progress into the quarter finals, while Dons eased past Northampton 2-0 at the PTS Academy Stadium. Lee Johnson's side sit sixth in League One - and play Dons this coming Saturday too - and have lost just one of their last 11 games in all competitions. On Saturday, they drew 2-2 with Gillingham. Their last away defeat ironically came in the Papa John's Trophy when they were beaten in the group stages by Fleetwood in November.

Dons have lost three of their last 10 games and sit 16th in the table, but Russell Martin has said he is taking the competition seriously and wants to lead his side to Wembley - though admits there will be changes to his team between the cup and League One clashes.

Thomas Bramall will take charge of the game at Stadium MK. He has booked 42 players in his 19 outings this season, sending off four. He oversaw the 0-0 draw between Dons and Northampton back in Novmber. Grant Taylor and Michael Chard will run the lines, with John Busby the Fourth Official.

Bookies have Dons at 15/8 to win, Sunderland at 5/4 and 11/5 the draw at full time. The game will be decided on penalties should the scores remain level at full-time.
