MK Dons could take ninth spot in League One if they better Ipswich's result against Fleetwood when they take on Rochdale at Stadium MK on Sunday.

The final games of the League One campaign will kick-off at midday on Sunday with Russell Martin's side chasing a single-figure finish by extending their undefeated run to five games. The 1-1 draw with Fleetwood on Saturday ended their three-game winning streak.

They take on an already relegated Rochdale side, sent down last Saturday after losing 2-1 to Doncaster Rovers at Spotland. Until the loss, Brian Barry-Murphy's side had given themselves half a chance of surviving with three wins and two draws but it was too little too late.

The sides met at a snowy Spotland back in February, but the weather did little to put Dons off their stride as they handed out a comprehensive 4-1 thumping to Dale. Down the years, Dons have won nine of the 17 previous meetings between the sides, with Rochdale claiming four wins, and four draws. Rochdale haven't won in Milton Keynes since January 2008 - their only win in the new city.

With Cameron Jerome likely to miss the final game of the season, Scott Fraser will finish the season as Dons' leading scorer in the league, but heads into the game one goal behind Jerome's total of 15 in all competitions.

Tim Robinson will take charge of the game at Stadium MK. Spending most of the season in the Championship, Robinson has booked 149 players in 43 games, sending off nine. His last Dons game came at Craven Cottage in April 2016 when Dons were beaten 2-1 by Fulham in their only season in the second tier. Lee Venamore and Craig Taylor will run the lines with Fourth Official Daniel Lamport.

Dons are heavy favourites to win the game, with bookmakers having them at 4/6, Rochdale are 15/4 and 3/1 the draw.
