Dons will be on the road for a third game in a row on Saturday when they take on Accrington Stanley at the Wham Stadium.

Under Paul Tisdale, Dons were beaten 2-1 there last season but had a goal ruled out late on, and a Hiram Boateng effort cleared off the line at the death. It is Accrington’s only win over Dons though, with the team from Milton Keynes winning the four other meetings.

John Coleman’s side though are sitting ninth in the table, nine clear of Dons down in 18th. But they have two games in hand over most of the other teams in the division and even three on some, which could see them right in the hunt for automatic promotion.

Dons though have won their last three away from Stadium MK, most recently with a brilliant performance at The Valley against Charlton on Wednesday night, but sit 17th in the standings.

Anthony Coggins will take charge of the match on Saturday, his 11th game of the season. He has booked 28 players and sent off three this season - two of them in his last three games. MK Dons fans last saw him take charge of their game against Southend last September, a game which ended in a 1-0 defeat at Stadium MK. Graeme Fyvie and Mark Cunliffe will run the lines, with Fourth Official Sebastian Stockbridge.

Bookmakers have Dons at 7/4 to win the game, Accrington at 31/20 and 12/5 the draw.
