MK Dons will be seeking only their second ever victory at The Valley on Wednesday night when they take on Charlton Athletic.

In seven visits, Dons have won just once, in April 2017 when goals from Stuart O'Keefe and Harvey Barnes secured the points for Robbie Neilson's side.

The sides have crossed paths 16 times since November 2009, Dons winning five of them, with Charlton taking seven victories and four draws.

Since suffering relegation on the final day of the season last term, the Addicks have made a great start to life back in League One and sit third in the standings, four points behind leaders Hull having lost just three games in their opening 13. Dons meanwhile sit 18th in the table.

Lee Bowyer's men returned to winning ways at the weekend, after a defeat and a draw prior, with a 2-0 win over Ipswich Town at Portman Road, while Dons were in FA Cup action, beating Barnet 1-0 at The Hive.

Andy Davies takes charge of the game at The Valley, his 11th appearance of the season. He has dished out 28 yellow cards and four reds so far. Robert Hyde and Lee Venamore will run the lines, with Fourth Official Carl Fitch-Jackson.

The bookmakers have Dons at 12/5 to win, Charlton are 6/5 and the draw is 23/10.
