After winning their first league game of the season, MK Dons head to bottom club Oxford United on Tuesday night looking to make it two in a row.

Goals from Cameron Jerome and Carlton Morris wrapped up the 2-0 win over Gillingham on Saturday, meaning Karl Robinson's men dropped to the bottom of the table after losing 2-0 to Peterborough.

Like Dons, Oxford have just one win to their name this season, but it's Dons two draws that have been the difference. Oxford though have played a game less after their fixture with Crewe was postponed due to a covid-19 outbreak for the Alex.

It was this fixture last season which was the first to fall victim to the coronavirus pandemic. Dons had won the game between the sides earlier in the season, and it was Russell Martin's first win as manager, courtesy of Joe Mason's winner at Stadium MK.

In six meetings between the sides, there is nothing to tell between the sides, with each winning twice and two draws. Dons' record at the Kassam Stadium is two defeats and one win, coming in a thrilling 4-3 in the EFL Trophy in 2017.

The bookmakers have Dons at 5/2 to win, Oxford at 23/20 and 23/10 the draw.

Kevin Johnson referees the game this evening. In four games this term, he has booked nine players. Dons last saw him in the 3-1 defeat to Portsmouth back in February. Steven Plane and Mike Desborough will run the lines, with Fourth Official Brett Huxtable - the man who awarded the dubious penalty against Lincoln earlier this season.
