MK Dons are back on the road tonight when they take on Rochdale at Spotland.

Two places and six points separate the sides ahead of the 7pm kick-off, with both sides having played 26 games so far. This game was originally scheduled for early January but a covid outbreak at Rochdale forced the game into postponement.

It will be the 17th meeting between the sides, with Dons claiming eight victories to Rochdale's four. Of the games at Spotland, Dons have won four and lost three, drawing once. Their most recent trip was a disappointing one though, losing in a drab 2-0 in October 2019.

Dons' start to 2021 has seen them pick up two wins, two losses and a draw in League One, while Rochdale have played significantly more games, drawing four, losing three and winning just once. At home, Rochdale have seen 21 goals fly in at both ends in their last four matches.

Russell Martin's side though have picked up four points from their last two games, beating AFC Wimbledon 2-0 and sharing the spoils in a thriller with Sunderland at the weekend, drawing 2-2.

Carl Boyeson takes charge of the game, his 18th game of the season. Keeping his red card firmly in his pocket so far, Mr Boyeson has dished out 61 yellow cards this term. His last Dons game was in fact the final game of last season before the curtailment - the 1-0 home defeat to Doncaster Rovers in March 2020. Christopher Ward and Mark Cunliffe will run the lines, with Fourth Official Peter Gooch.

The bookmakers have both Dons and Rochdale at 3/1 to win, with 4/5 the draw.
