Fraser would hate to play against his Dons team-mates

He might have been the headline man against Charlton on Wednesday night, but Scott Fraser said there were two players he would have hated to play against in the Dons side at The Valley.

The Scot netted the only goal of the game as Dons moved up to 17th in League One with the win in arguably his best individual performance since signing on a free transfer in the summer.

But it was the work of David Kasumu and Carlton Morris which impressed Fraser at The Valley.

"With David, he does what no-one else wants to do and he is unbelievable at it," he said. "I'd hate to play against him, he's so good at that job. You have to be a certain type of player to do that, and I know I couldn't do that – sitting in and disrupting play.

"He's such a good player, and when he's on the ball, you know it's going forwards and I can trust he's going to get the ball to me.

"Carlton is a big strong boy, and I feel he could use it more. Nights like tonight show how good he can be, he was unplayable. I felt sorry for the centre halves – I feel like he bullied them the whole game!"

Fraser also praised two of the more experienced heads in the side for their performances against Charlton - Andrew Surman and Cameron Jerome.

He continued: "I read all the comments when Cammy signed, saying he's past it and a stupid signing. I love seeing messages like that when he proves week in, week out just how good he is.

"And what can you say about Surs – he's played Premier League for the the past however many years. You saw his ability on the ball tonight, and he still needs to get up to speed. I know how hard it is to do that with how we play, it's not easy. You need to learn the patterns but he will only go from strength to strength."
