Goals galore as St Peter hit Grendon for six

Stacey Field hit a hat-trick as New Bradwell St Peter thumped Grendon Rangers 6-1 in Spartan South Midlands Division 2.

Field’s trio came after Oluwanimilo Ajigbolamu’s early brace put St Peter in control.

Tyrone Taylor completed the scoring late on as Craig Bicknell’s side moved into ninth.

MK Gallacticos got one over on fellow city side Loughton Manor to stay fifth with a 4-1 win.

Ryan Smith bagged a brace, Mohammed Ahmed and Dennis Kapferer completed the scoring for Gallacticos, while Dale Collins scored the consolation for Manor.

Old Bradwell kept pace with Gallacticos though with a 5-0 win over Tring Corinthians, with all the goals coming in the second half. Alex Feaver opened the scoring on 58 minutes, before Tommy Cooke doubled the lead with 20 minutes to go. Peter Bentley (2) and Peter Maxey rounded out the win.

Clean Slate though suffered a heavy defeat, going down 6-1 to Enfield Borough.
