Harvie cleared to play after Covid contact on international duty

The EFL have granted clearance for Daniel Harvie to return to training with MK Dons after he came in contact with Covid-19 while away on international duty with Scotland U21s last week.
The 22-year-old had missed two games already - against Southampton U21s and Sunderland - before returning to Milton Keynes, but was forced out of Saturday's game against Hull after he was told he had been in contact with someone who had the virus.

"We had to take Daniel out following the advice we’be been given," said manager Russell Martin. "Since then the EFL have given us clearance to let him train and play. He’s been tested and came back negative twice now, so we’re really pleased. We’re listening to the guidelines from the EFL to make sure everyone is safe and it’s really good to make sure we have him back and fit.
"Our staff here have been incredible dealing with the Covid protocols here, we are very strict here and the players have been fantastic. We’ll continue working the way we are until we are told otherwise."
