HEAD-TO-HEAD: Dons aiming to stop the Shakers

MK Dons may be beginning to find their League 1 feet again but will be desperate to get back to winning ways at home on Tuesday night as they take on Bury at Stadium MK.

The Cowshed hasn't celebrated a victory in 10 matches, the longest run since the stadium opened back in 2007.

Ironically, their first game at MK1 indeed came against Bury in League 2 and it also ended in defeat. Despite Keith Andrews firing Dons into a first half lead, an Andy Bishop double, twinned with Drissa Diallo's red card, ensured the Shakers all three points.

HEAD TO HEAD: MK Dons vs Bury at the MK Citizen Stats CentreThat was Bury's last triumph against Dons though, unable to take victory in the last five and that has been down, in large part, to Dean Bowditch. In 2012, he bagged a brace at Stadium MK in Dons' 2-1 win. A year later, he went one further and netted a hat-trick at Gigg Lane as Dons ran riot, winning 4-1.

And then he opened the scoring in a 1-1 draw the last time the sides met, in January 2013.

Bowditch is Dons' leading scorer this season (in all competitions), having again found the back of the net on Saturday to score his fifth of the season so far as Dons beat Fleetwood 4-1 at Highbury Stadium. Transfer deadline day signing Ryan Colclough scored his second, third and fourth goals for his new club when he completed his hat-trick against Uwe Rosler's side as Dons climbed to 12th in the table.

Bury however have made an excellent start to the season, sitting just a point from the summit. They come into the game on the back of a fantastic run, winning five of their last five, which has seen them sail up the table

While they may not have beaten Dons in the last five meetings, Bury are unbeaten in their last three away games.
