HEAD-TO-HEAD: Dons warned of complacency against Oldham

Dons are unbeaten in five in League 1, having drawn 1-1 with Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, and have edged seven points clear of the drop zone - the last place of which is ironically occupied by the Latics.

John Sheridan's side though have won three of their last five to mount something of a revival, having spent the majority of the season squabbling in the drop zone. And they picked up a vital three points over fellow relegation candidates Chesterfield on Saturday, scoring a late winner despite playing half the game with 10 men.

Despite their position in the league though, and Dons' favourable form over Oldham in the past, Dons boss Neilson has warned his side not to take Oldham lightly when they arrive at Stadium MK.

"You can't get complacent in this league," he said. "If you don't turn up and give it 100 per cent, you'll get turned over. Every team has one or two players who have a game-changing moment in them and it's important to take care of them.

"They'll be fighting, and they got a great result on Saturday. They went down to 10 men, sat in really well and then got a 94th minute winner. They'll come to Stadium MK on a high with nothing to lose, and they'll really go for it."

Stadium MK has been far from a happy hunting ground for Oldham in the past. Last time they were in town, Dons racked up a record 7-0 victory, with six different scorers on the day. They have also been on the end of 5-0 and 6-2 hidings on previous trips to MK1, picking up just two points from a possible 21.
