After securing a lucrative move to France on Thursday, Healey took to Twitter to pay tribute to the club.

He wrote: "I want to say a huge thank you to my teammates, the staff, the chairman and, of course, the fans at MK Dons for making me feel so at home during my time at the club. Since the day I arrived here on loan, I have loved every minute.

"I have made friends for life in the dressing room and the support I've received from all the staff and the fans have helped to make me a better player and a person.

"I wish the team all the best for the upcoming season. I will always keep an eye out for the results and I would love nothing more than to see the club gets back to where it belongs."
