After picking up their first away league win in 14 months on Saturday, Russell Martin hopes MK Dons can continue their decent run of form against high-flying Hull this weekend.

Hull visit Stadium MK sitting second in League One, having lost just three matches so far after being relegated from the Championship.

Dons head into the game four games unbeaten, with Martin saying: “Hull are a massive club. It’s a tough league this year. There are a lot of clubs who may feel they belong to the tier above but they are in this league.

“Hull have recruited really well for this division and kept hold of a number of key players from the Championship. They are living up to their expectations of where they’d want to be this year.

“I’m hopeful we can put in a performance of the level or better than Sunderland.”

Scott Fraser feels Hull's position in League One means they are unlikely to sit back and accept Dons having more of the ball, instead, trying to get forwards which could actually play into Dons' hands.

He added: "Hull are a massive club in this division, I expect another tough game as they should be up the top. They’ll come to our place and try play their style, I feel it’ll be pressure on them for their fans though.

"When we go to Portsmouth and Sunderland you see the chances we get, no matter how good you are it’s hard to break down 11 grown men that have been coached to stop us. It’s really tough, no matter how well we pass and play we’ve been working on breaking a low block in the final third."
