Russell Martin hopes to get Cameron Jerome back before the end of the season after injury ruled him out of Saturday's 0-0 draw with Ipswich Town, while Louis Thompson is set to return.

Both players limped out of the 2-0 defeat to Crewe Alexandra on Easter Monday at Stadium MK and missed Saturday's trip to Portman Road, as did Warren O'Hora who will miss the remaining six games of the season.

Thompson's time at Stadium MK has been marred by injuries since arriving on loan from Norwich, and Martin hopes he will be back in contention quickly, while Jerome's injury might see him back before the end of the campaign.

He said: "Louis is going to be back very quickly, which is good - his layoff was more of a precaution than anything.

"Cammy might take a bit longer, but we’re hopeful to have him back before the end of the season. Cammy has a similar injury to one some of hte others have had and has been put down to training surface.

"It’s disappointing but we will have them back before the end of the season - Louis definitely and we'll just have to see how Cammy reacts to treatment. He's a bit of a machine is our Cam so hopefully he’ll be alright."
