Goals from Scott Twine and Matt O'Riley pegged back the Tractor Boys, who led through Macaulay Bonne who netted a brace for the home side, who are still looking for their first win of the season.
Both sides hit the frame of the goal too, with Ethan Robson and Josh Martin doing so for Liam Manning's side.
Here's how we rated the players.
Here's how we rated the players.
9. Top Don: Matt O'Riley - 8.5
His best performance in a Dons shirt. Great at both ends of the pitch, read the game excellently and created his own goal by spotting a moment of indecision from the Ipswich defence.
10. Mo Eisa - 6.5
Didn't get much of a sight of goal but was always a threat. Made clever runs, sparked counter-attacks and tried to make himself available
11. Troy Parrott - 7
Didn't get much joy during his time as an Ipswich player, and didn't get much joy on his return to Portman Road either. Like Eisa, always looked eager to take people on, but ran himself into the ground by the end.
12. Sub: Josh Martin - 6.5
Popped up on both flanks to cause late problems, but will be remembered for hitting the bar with the final kick of the game.
