Russell Martin' s side were in fine form against Norwich U21s, winning 6-0 to progress into the last 16 of the Papa John's Trophy, certainly giving the fans something to warm them during the course of the evening.
"I hope they enjoyed it," said Martin "We certainly enjoyed having them back. It felt different from the warm-up, having a bit of noise and a bit of buzz back.
"Let's be honest – it has been rubbish without them hasn't it? We're grateful to have played through this difficult period, but it has been nowhere near the same."
