Stuart Moore wished MK Dons 'all the best for the future' in a social media post after he was released on Saturday.

The keeper made 15 appearances for the club during a two year spell at Stadium MK where he was used for the most part as back-up to Lee Nicholls.

Largely spotted in cup competitions, Moore replaced Nicholls in goal during February and March 2019. Dons had struggled with form at the start of the year, and sweeping changes at Newport County saw Dons win five in a row, restarting their promotion battle. However, following a 4-2 defeat in torrential conditions at Morecambe, Moore would return to the bench.

He would make six more appearances for the club in 2019/20, including starting against European champions Liverpool in the EFL Cup in September, while his last appearance came in January in the 3-0 defeat to Newport County.

The loan signing of Andrew Fisher from Blackburn in January saw Moore replaced on the substitute's bench for the remainder of the season.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Moore wrote: "Thank you to the fans, players and staff during my time at MK, promotion season will always be up there! Wish you all the best for the future. Looking forward to what’s ahead."
