Leaders Lincoln slip up in Dons' weekend off
With their league game with Yeovil postponed due to international call-ups in the Glovers' side, Dons slipped to sixth in the table, four points adrift but with a game in hand now over most of their rivals.
SEE THE LEAGUE 2 TABLE HERELeaders Lincoln City saw their undefeated start to the campaign come to an end after a surprise 1-0 defeat at home to Crawley. Having installed Gabriele Cioffi earlier this week, a John Bostwick own goal in first half stoppage time was enough for the Reds to claim victory over Danny Cowley's side - the manager who pipped Dons boss Paul Tisdale to the Manager of the Month award on Friday. Captain Lee Frecklington was sent off 10 minutes into the second half for the hosts and could miss the visit of MK Dons later this month.

He was handed a severe beating at the hands of Exeter City as they went down 5-1 at St James Park and was also sent to the stands by the referee. Exeter move up to third place as a result of their win.
Newport County are proving to be something of a surprise package this season and are level on points with leaders Lincoln after beating Oldham 1-0 at Boundary Park. Tyreeq Bakinson's goal was enough to see off the Latics.
Also moving above Dons were Carlisle United, who beat Cambridge 2-1 on the road, and Colchester, who shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with Tranmere.
