The votes have been counted, and below is the League One team of the season as picked by the journalists who travel the country covering clubs in the division. All 23 journalists named the XI who stood out against the clubs they cover.

MK Dons striker Rhys Healey picked up three votes - from Sam Frost (Bristol Rovers) Neil Allen (Portsmouth) and Paul Davis (Rotherham) - and makes the second XI.
