  • Kick-off at 7pm at the Memorial Stadium

Dons make it back-to-back victories with a pretty routine win at the Memorial Stadium. The late penalty aside, Rovers caused little problem for Russell Martin’s side as goals from Scott Fraser and Will Grigg move them up to 10th.

Fisher goes the right way to deny Luke Leahy and keep Dons’ clean sheet in tact!

90+5 mins: Penalty!

Lewington gives the ball away late on, Daly breaks and is hauled down by Darling - penalty to Rovers

90 mins: A late change

Scott Fraser makes way for Lasse Sorensen late in the day.

80 mins: Two more changes

Grigg off, McEachran off, Brown and Houghton on,

71 mins: Dons make a change

In total control are Dons so far, Rovers are desperately trying to get back into it and find a lifeline, but there’s just no joy for the home side,

David Kasumu is being wrapped up for the final 20 minutes or so, Andrew Surman replaces him.

60 mins: Grigg! At last!

Ten games without a goal, but Will Grigg has finally ended his goal drought. It was a scrappy one, he won’t care a jot though. McEachran’s free kick was aimed at Darling who misses it, Jules plays it back goalwards, it hits a few Bristol Rovers legs before Grigg slides it in from about two yards out!

49 mins: Dangerous stuff from Fisher

The keeper was living on the edge there, dallying on the ball and allowing McCormick to close him down as he cleared, it hits the Rovers man and falls just wide.

Rovers get the game back underway, having made three changes at the break.

Half time: Bristol Rovers 0-1 MK Dons

Comfortable for Dons, that opening half. Leading through Fraser’s 16th minute goal, it could have been 2-0 when Sorinola hit the bar just before the break. Dons have the running of the game when they click into gear, and Rovers have little to respond with in truth.

A few half chances for the home side aside, Dons’ defence has had next to nothing to really contend with.

43 mins: Sorinola cracks one against the bar

A thunderous effort from Sorinola as he cuts inside onto his right boot, bending it goalwards but he sees it thump the bar.

32 mins: Comfortable for the visitors at the moment

Dons have played some really nice stuff but as yet haven’t managed to carve themselves another opening. Sorinola is still enjoying acres of space on the left to play in, but he has seen an effort deflected just wide of the mark.

At the other end, Rovers have done precious little to really threaten a way back into it.

16 mins: Dons are in front!

Matt O’Riley and Will Grigg combine, but it’s Scott Fraser who sends MK Dons into the lead.

The pair play the ball between themselves before the striker gets a shot in, Anssi Jaakkola saves but only palms it into the path of Fraser who slots it home for the visitors!

10 mins: A good start for Dons

Nothing really to write home about so far in the opening 10 minutes, but Dons have started pretty well so far. Sorinola looks like he’s going to have a lot of space to play with out on the left-hand side. Only an Ethan Laird effort from a corner to tell in front of goal though.

At the other end, Brandon Hanlan fired one straight at Andrew Fisher.
