FULL TIME! MK Dons 3-2 Accrington Stanley

What a relief! O’Riley’s header wins it at the death when five minutes of madness threatened to ruin it.

Dons end their run of defeats with a much-welcomed win, and one they fully deserved too.

93 mins: O’Riley!!!

Have Dons snatched it?! Sorinola’s cross again is headed home by O’Riley to give Dons the lead deep into stoppage time!

90 mins: Half a chance for Grigg

Nottingham’s pass back to his keeper takes a wicked bobble, Grigg chases it down, keeper Savin lashes it into Grigg’s face and it deflects wide!

86 mins: Mason makes the keeper save

Joe Mason finds some space in the box, looks to place one in the bottom corner but a deflection takes the pace off it somewhat, keeper Savin still has to get down low to deny Dons a late winner.

70 mins: Sorinola comes close

The full-back cuts inside onto his right boot, Fraser is open on the edge of the box but Sorinola goes it alone and fires an effort goalwards, but it’s just over the bar.

65 mins: Changes for Dons

Josh McEachran and Cameron Jerome make way for Will Grigg and Louis Thompson.

61 mins: Accrington are level

That’s a huge blow for Dons as they have seen their 2-0 lead evaporate in a matter of minutes. A routine corner into the box wasn’t dealt with and Andrew Surman appears to have gotten the final touch on it.

57 mins: Accrington get one back

Ah that’s a frustrating one for Dons. A little bit of over-play from Surman who gave it away and allows Dion Charles to fire in to reduced the arrears.

55 mins: Sorinola and Jerome combine again!

They’ve deserved to be at least two goals to the good and they are at last! Cameron Jerome could have had a few in the first half but he makes no mistake this time as Sorinola’s cross is prodded home from close range.

Back underway at Stadium MK, no changes for either side.

Half time: MK Dons 1-0 Accrington

Probably should be a bigger margin but Dons have been, for the most part, in control of this. Jerome could have three or four, Fraser could have one too, but it’s just the one at the interval.

Accrington have forced a few needless errors in the latter stages of the half, with Fisher’s balls away leaving a lot to be desired. That being said, for 35-40 mins, that’s as dominant as Dons have been for a long while.

44 mins: Dons living dangerously

Some of the passing around at the back is creeping back into dangerous territory again for the home side as Accrington are beginning to get a foothold in the game. A few scuffed clearances from Fisher and some higher presses from the visitors are putting Dons back into trouble again.

36 mins: Fraser forces a save

A loose ball from Toby Savin is picked up by Fraser 30 yards from goal but while he takes it into the box, the keeper gets a glove on Fraser’s effort, taking all the sting out of it.

25 mins: Jerome could have had a hat-trick

He’s arguably scored the hardest of his chances so far, but Cameron Jerome could have four or five already this afternoon, having headed into the side netting and then forcing Savin into another good save to keep Dons at bay.

This is as dominant as Dons have been in a game for a long time, but they need to capitalise with another goal or two to make it really comfortable.
