FULL TIME: MK Dons 1-0 Portsmouth

A cracking win for MK Dons! Scott Fraser’s penalty ultimately the difference but the hosts were in control for the majority of the game and full deserved to bounce back from Tuesday night’s thumping with a really big victory.

84 mins: SO close to a second

Matt O’Riley hits one just wide of the mark.

Andrew Surman will make way for these final few minutes for Jordan Houghton.

Jack Whatmough flies into a two-footed challenge on Charlie Brown and he is rightly sent off. Portsmouth down to 10 men with nine mins to go.

75 mins: Still all to play for

Portsmouth are still very much in this one, Dons are looking a bit more nervous as we head into the final 15 minutes. Possession given away cheaply by both sides at the moment, and route one appears to be more of the preferred style on show.

66 mins: Double change for Dons

Charlie Brown and Josh McEachran come on for Scott Fraser and David Kasumu.

Both have put in excellent shifts this afternoon.

55 mins: More of the same

The second half has continued the way the first ended: at 100mph! End-to-end, both sides going full beans at it but still only Fraser’s penalty between the sides.

48 mins: Portsmouth hit the bar!

Another one off the woodwork, this time Portsmouth head onto the frame from a corner.

46 mins: Dons hit the woodwork again!

What a start to the half that could have been by Dons as O’Riley crosses for Grigg, who nods down for Fraser to unleash a volley which thumps the bar.

Back underway at Stadium MK.

In the picture: Fraser celebrates!

Half time: MK Dons 1-0 Portsmouth

A thrilling first half, end-to-end, and sees Dons go in 1-0 up. Chances aplenty, both sides have hit the post, Fraser converting from the spot before Grigg denied twice off the line. At the other end, Fisher brilliantly denies Marquis.

45 mins: Grigg denied twice off the line!

What has the guy got to do to score?! Laird picks Grigg out at the far post and it should be routine for him to score but his first effort is blocked, the second comes back to him, he rounds the keeper but he’s denied again on the line

You don’t bet against Scott Fraser from 12 yards as he sends MacGillivray the wrong way to open the scoring!

Ethan Laird is downed in the box! Penalty to Dons!
