League action was put on the back burner for many of the teams this weekend as cup competitions took over.
City Colts booked a place in the thirdround of the Interdivisional Trophy, beating Bow Brickhill 4-0, courtesy of an Old hat-trick. MK Titans were also knocked out at the hands of Stewkley, going down 5-0.
The only game in the Premier Division was between Great Linford and Loughton Manor and meant there would be a new league leader. It turned out to be a cruise for Manor though, winning the game 3-0, but with Great Horwood not playing, it allowed Loughton to take top spot by a single point.
In the Intermediate Trophy, Woburn Sands were edged out in a five goal thriller, going down 3-2 to Denbigh Hall.
In the Intermediate Division, City Colts Reserves won 8-2 over Brackley Sports Reserves, Deanshanger Athletic beat AFC Santander 3-2 and Wolverton Town Reserves were victorious over Wicken Sports, winning 2-0.
Unbeaten Bow Brickhill Reserves booked their Division One Trophy final place, beating Wicken Sports Reserves 5-1.
Deanshanger Reserves remain bottom of Division One after losing 5-0 to Great Linford Reserves, Woughton drew with Charlton & District while Olney were rewarded a walkover against Stewkley Reserves who couldn’t raise a side.
Comet MK will play Steeple Clayton in the Division Two Trophy final after beating Great Horwood Reserves 6-1.
In Division Two, MK Wanderers A lost 1-0 to league leaders Scot Youth and Stantonbury Social Elite thumped Silverstone Reserves 6-0.
