Scott Fraser said Russell Martin aired his frustrations at half-time after Dons allowed Rochdale to equalise just before the break at Spotland on Tuesday night.

After a handful of half-chances and near-misses, Matthew Lund converted from close range six minutes to cancel out Matt O'Riley's fifth-minute opener.

Dons emerged a wounded animal in the second half, and scored three goals in quick succession to put the game beyond reach by the hour mark, with Fraser netting Dons' third in a 4-1 win.

"(Martin) was frustrated we gave away the goal," said Fraser afterwards. "They showed us a lot of respect, we handled it wrongly though. We needed to pressed faster from the back than we did, and you saw the tempo change in the second half. Our quality shone through in the end. We should have kept control throughout, it's something we need to work on.

"The second half should have been the full game. We started well and got the goal and we were doing well when we gave away a sloppy goal. It's something we need to stop. We showed a really good reaction in the second half though.

"Once we get the first goal, we have to go and get the second. Our record when we score first is excellent."
