Russell Martin was not too bothered by his Manager of the Month nomination for February, nor about missing out to Peterborough boss Darren Ferguon to the gong.

Posh won six matches in February and hit top spot, while Dons won four, drew one and lost one last month as they moved up into the midtable reaches of League One.

Striker Jonson Clarke-Harris made it a double for Peterborough as he landed the Player of the Month prize, but the nomination wasn't something Dons boss Martin spent too much time dwelling on.

"It's not really about me," he said. "The Manager of the Month thing is more about Team of the Month really. I think the guys who were nominated with me deserved it more, and one of them won it!

"I'm pleased for Darren, they've been in amazing form and he's a person I've got a lot of respect for.

"It means our team has done well. If we'd have won it, great, but Peterborough deserved it."
