Russell Martin will have almost a full compliment of players available to him for the visit of Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.

Joe Mason remains the only man not fully fit for the game, but the Dons boss confirmed on Wednesday that the striker could play a part from the bench.

Mason, a former Bolton player, has not been available for a month.

Martin said: “He’s good, he’s getting there. He’s back in with the group, which is nice. We don’t want to rush him. There is potential for him to be involved on Saturday, but we have to manage that.”

There were also injury concerns for Callum Brittain, who missed the Lincoln game, and Carlton Morris , who limped out of it late in the day, as well after the back-to-back away games at Shrewsbury Town and Lincoln City. Martin said both have been training this week and are in contention to play.

The manager continued: “Callum missed the last one with a knock in Shrewsbury, but he’s OK and giving me a headache with Regan (Poole) playing so well in there at Lincoln.

“Callum is fine and has trained all week.

“And Carlton came off with a little knock, but he’s fine. He’s getting used to playing 90 minutes and getting kicked a lot.

“Apart from Joe, it’s a fully fit squad to choose from.”
