Conor McGrandles has signed a deal to join Lincoln City after being released by MK Dons.

The 24-year-old former Norwich midfielder amassed 91 appearances during his three seasons at Stadium MK, netting four goals for the club.

He was released from his contract to sign for the Imps to help ease pressure on Russell Martin's playing budget.

McGrandles was signed by Robbie Neilson in 2017 and grew in stature during his first season. But a serious facial fracture suffered in the opening game of the 2018/19 season saw him miss three months of Dons' League 2 campaign, returning with a protective mask.

A regular for both Paul Tisdale and Russell Martin in League One, McGrandles departs for Sincil Bank, joining Jordan Bowery who left for Mansfield last month. Lincoln finished 16th in the standings in their return to the third tier, five points above Dons.
