Goals from Mo Eisa and Matt O'Riley ensured their second victory of the season, lifting them to 11th in League One.
Here's how we rated the players.
9. Scott Twine - 6
Had a couple of flashes but wasn't a game where he could get creative and do what he does best.
10. Troy Parrott - 5.5
Did well to line up Eisa for the opener, but didn't get going really. Struggled with his first touch in the first half in particular. Dons will now lose him to international duty.
11. Mo Eisa - 6
Starved of the ball for long periods in the first half, but took his goal brilliantly before nearly creating a second which saw him injured and his day cut short.
12. Sub: Josh McEachran - 6
Gave Dons a bit more stability in the middle of the park as they matched up with Accrington. Offered a mature head and a calming nature.
