Here's who won't be returning next season, and those out of contract who are still in talks to remain at the club. Will Grigg (Sunderland), Louis Thompson (Norwich City), Lasse Sorensen (Stoke City) and Ethan Laird (Manchester United) will return to their parent clubs at the end of their loan spells.
. RELEASED: Lee Nicholls
The keeper lost his number one spot in October to Andrew Fisher and has been limited to cup games since. Made more than 150 appearances since 2016.
. RELEASED: Jordan Houghton
Fell down the midfield pecking order this season having held a key role in the side in his previous two seasons. Made more than 100 appearances, 23 this season, scoring four goals.
. RELEASED: Kieran Agard
The club's third all-time leading scorer, who signed in 2016, played just one game this season, netting a brace against Norwich U21s. Injuries and favour saw his chances limited under Russell Martin.
. RELEASED: Joe Mason
A spell which never really got going. Injuries at bad times stunted his time at Stadium MK and limited him to just nine goals - three of which came in a brilliant hat-trick against Fleetwood earlier this season.
9. TALKS: Cameron Jerome
Dons' top scorer heading into the final game of the season. Has shown no signs of slowing down in the latter stages of his career and has been excellent leading the line for Dons this season.
10. TALKS: Laurie Walker
Spent the latter part of this season on loan at Oldham where he has impressed in League Two.
11. TALKS: Jay Bird
Spent the best part of two years side-lined through injury. Has looked lively in his substitute appearances recently.
