The set-piece swings in, Sansom gets a good punch to it but Lucy Quinn has a go from the edge of the box only to find the keeper again

Jade Pennock looked to strike early there as she skipped inside the challenge of Nicola Puddick, getting a shot on goal but a combination of Sofia Stovold and keeper Chloe Sansom kept the ball out

After seeing yesterday's first team game postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Mansfield, it's actually a lovely day at MK1 (albeit a bit nippy!)

And crucially, I'm back in my actual seat for once!

It's FA Cup third round action for MK Dons Women this afternoon, taking on Birmingham City Women.

Charlie Bill's side cruised into the hat for the third round with a comfortable 3-0 win over Worcester City in the last round, having beaten Cambridge United in the opener.

The Blues, who play in the Championship, enter the competition in this round, but reached the quarter finals last season, going out to Brighton.
