Sergio Aguza has become the fifth player to leave MK Dons this month.
The Spanish midfielder joined in the summer from Real Madrid Castilla, but failed to make an impression on Karl Robinson’s side, playing just 209 minutes.
Aguza signed just weeks after fellow Castilla star Cristian Benavente, and leaves just weeks after him too with neither adapting to English football as quickly as Dons would have liked.
Boss Robinson said: “Sergio’s attitude has been spot on since arriving from Spain and he has remained patient given that he hasn’t played as much as he would have liked.
“He is a talented footballer but, similarly to Cristian, he’s still a way from first-team level and we need players who are equipped to help us now.”
Robinson continued: “I have no doubts he will have a successful career in the game and I wish him all the best.”
Sam Gallagher, Diego Poyet and Mark Randall have also left Dons this month.
