Mick Harford has left MK Dons after just one season at the club.
The former Luton Town boss joined Karl Robinson’s staff last May, but will leave to pursue other challenges.
There was some speculation surrounding the 54-year-old’s future over the weekend, with rumours that he had parted company with the stadium:mk club.
An MK Dons statement read: “Mick has today (Tuesday) confirmed his departure and will now seek a new challenge away from MK Dons.
“The club would like to place on record its thanks to Mick for all of his work over the last 12 months and wishes him the best of luck with his future endeavours.”
Dons will make no further official comment on the matter.
Robinson is expected to name a new recruit to his backroom staff before the players return for pre-season training on June 24.
