George Baldock has signed a new two-and-a-half year contract with MK Dons.
The 20-year-old midfielder has made a big impact in Karl Robinson’s side this season, making 20 appearances for the club.
But with his deal set to expire in the summer, the manager moved quickly to secure Baldock’s services until July 2016, signing ahead of the Port Vale game on Saturday.
“George is a gifted young talent,” said Robinson. “He has worked tremendously hard on and off the pitch to compete for a place in the first team squad.
“Whenever he’s played this season he’s done remarkably well and I think now he’s managed to step out from the shadow of his brother Sam and develop his own relationship with the supporters at stadium:mk.”
