Dons ratings vs Cardiff City:

David Martin - 7 - Two good stops in the first half, but a spectator for the goal, unstoppable as it was.

Dean Lewington - 6 - Caught too high too often in the first half. More reserved in the second, and it gave Dons more assurance at the back.

Antony Kay - 5 - Off-colour, out of sorts and unsure at times.

Kyle McFadzean - 6 - More assured than his partner Kay, and even had a header cleared off the line.

Jordan Spence - 6 - Solid if unspectacular.

Darren Potter - 7 - A clever head in the midfield as ever.

Samir Carruthers - 7 - Kept things ticking over in the engine room, driving Dons onwards.

Rob Hall - 6 - Not as much of an influence as in recent weeks.

Josh Murphy - 8 - Came to life in the second half after a fairly anonymous first. Always a threat, and won it at the death. Could have had a second too.

Ben Reeves - 6 - Still not fully at the levels you’d expect of Ben Reeves. Touch evaded him too often.

Nicky Maynard - 9 - Standout performance. Worked himself into the ground, battled for everything, gave Cardiff no time to ponder and took his goal superbly.

Carl Baker - 6 - Livened things up as Dons pushed forwards.

Sam Gallagher - A late change, but was the target in the long lump up field to start the move where Murphy scored.
