Dons ratings vs Chesterfield:
Ian McLoughlin - 5 - While he couldn’t be blamed for the goals, his lack of communication with his back four was tell-tale.
Dean Lewington - 6 - Defended well, but played his side into trouble with his red card.
Jordan Spence - 5 - His error allowed Chesterfield a lifeline back into the game.
Antony Kay - 6 - Needed to marshall the defence a lot better.
Kyle McFadzean - 6 - A few moments of unknown with McLoughlin didn’t cost Dons but didn’t fill anyone with confidence.
Darren Potter - 6 - Fairly anonymous as Dons were over-run in midfield.
Lewis Baker - 6 - A wonder-strike to put Dons ahead, but had little impact.
Daniel Powell - 6 - From top performer to barely at the races.
George Williams - 7 - Looked lively, played his part in the opener, but hobbled off shortly afterwards.
Ben Reeves - 6 - Started brightly, but went off the boil along with the rest of the team. Finished at left back covering for Lewington.
Will Grigg - 6 - A lot of effort for little reward.
Carl Baker - 6 - Like Reeves, was good in the first period, but went off it in the second.
Lee Hodson - 6 - A like-for-like replacement for Spence after his howler cost him his place on the pitch.
Keith Andrews - Brought on to shore things up, but couldn’t see it through.
