Dons ratings vs Rotherham
David Martin - 8 - Kept Dons in it in the early stages as he made two great saves from Matt Derbyshire.
Dean Lewington - 7 - Solid as ever, making no mistakes and looking every bit a Championship defender.
Antony Kay - 8 - Never looked in trouble.
Kyle McFadzean - 8 - Aerially excellent, as well as on the ground.
Jordan Spence - 8 - Ran up and down the touchline all afternoon. Capped his performance off with a fortuitous goal. But they all count.
Darren Potter - 7 - Didn’t grab the headlines, but rarely does. Did the simple stuff right.
Samir Carruthers - 8 - Left the pitch looking like Terry Butcher with a head bandage, but earned his battle scar with a bullish show in the centre.
Rob Hall - 7 - Got things going with his early strike, but looked like he was trying too hard to make an impact.
Dean Bowditch - 7 - A typically Bowditch performance. Plenty of running, but ran out of steam towards the end. Well taken goal.
Ben Reeves - 6 - Looked out of sorts and a bit rusty. Had little time on the ball to show his true worth though.
Sam Gallagher - 6 - Did the ugly side of leading the line solo. Missed a good chance in an anonymous first half, but was more involved in the second in holding up play.
Subs:
Daniel Powell - 6 - Made little impact.
Carl Baker - 7 - Scored the pick of the goals with a brilliant strike to put icing on the cake.
Simon Church - 6 - Ruffled a few feathers late on.
