Former Dons top-scorer agrees short-term move to League One side
The striker has joined a League One rival
Former MK Dons top-scorer Scott Hogan has agreed to join League One side Wigan Athletic on short-term deal.
The 34-year-old was a part of the successful League Two promotion-winning side last season, making 20 appearances for Paul Warne’s side and scoring once.
Arriving at Stadium MK in October 2024 on a free transfer, signing for Scott Lindsey, Hogan became a regular feature for the side though their struggles saw them fighting at the wrong end of the League Two table. He finished the season with eight goals to his name though, finish as the club’s top-scorer.
Leaving at the end of his contract in the summer, Hogan has been without a club until agreeing his switch to the Latics.
And he went straight into Gary Caldwell’s squad to face Sheffield Wednesday at Hillborough, but was an unused substitute in the 0-0 draw.
