MK Dons’ stay of execution in the Championship continued on Tuesday night as they shared a fiery 0-0 draw with 10-man Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.
Wednesday hit the woodwork four times as they threw everything at debutant keeper Charlie Burns, who replaced suspended Cody Cropper.
But a stale first period made way for a thrilling second as the home side piled forward. Tempers flared over when Ross Wallace clashed with Jonny Williams in an off-the-ball incident, earning him a red card with eight minutes to go.
With other results ending favourably, Dons’ stay in the Championship goes on to the next game, at home to Brentford on Saturday.
