The MK Dons head coach made five changes to the side to face Luton Town at the weekend, coming after a dismal 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Reading.
But with four games in ten days, Warne said he would have to make use of the whole squad to ensure he put out a fresh team, hinting at changes for tonight’s game at Bloomfield Road.
“You’re always thinking about rotation,” he said. “They’ve won so they won’t want to come out of the team, but do we want to freshen up? If we do that, does it make us weaker? Do we give the lads confidence by letting them start again but make changes earlier? There’s a lot to think about.
“We do have a strong squad, but I don’t want to change for the sake of it. When I played, and we won and I got taken out, I’d be raging. I won’t just randomly make eight changes and expect another win. We’ll freshen up where we need to, change shape if we need to to keep picking up wins.
“I do think with so many games quickly, inevitably we’ll have to freshen it up.”
Here’s how we think Dons could line-up to face Blackpool
