Skipper Alex Gilbey and defender Marvin Ekpiteta look set to miss out on the visit of the Spireites, absentees which could mean Dons have to change formation away from their now customary back three.
“I’ve got loads of things I can do,” Warne said. “I can play Aaron (Nemane) as one of the wing-backs, push Jon (Mellish) or Gethin (Jones) in one, or I could go to a four, maybe 4-3-3 or back to my roots with a 4-4-2. I’m only partially joking for any fans who saw us try that earlier this season!
“We’ll just have to see the fittest and best players available for Sunday.”
With those options available, here’s how we think MK Dons could take on Chesterfield.
