The changes could come in the defensive unit, with Wrexham loanee Ryan Barnett in line to make his first start at right wing-back. The 26-year-old came on as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Huddersfield Town last Saturday but could come into Paul Warne’s side for the visit of the Foxes.
Goalkeeper Will Dennis too could usurp the number on jersey from Craig MacGillivray after his move from Bournemouth this week but is likely to start life at Stadium MK on the bench after the Scot’s excellent performance against the Terriers last week kept his side in the contest.
Fresh from his PFA Team of the Year gong, skipper Alex Gilbey could also make his return to the side in the centre of the park, having missed the majority of pre-season with a knee injury. However he came through a midweek behind-closed-doors game unscathed and is in line to make his first-team return.
Here’s how we think Dons could line-up to face Leicester.
