Forget Christmas and his birthday - this is Karl Robinson’s favourite time of the year.
With nine games to go, Dons are ideally placed to get a play-off spot at the very least.

And with the season looking set to extend beyond May 2, the manager is delighted to be talking about what might be, rather than what might have been as he has in the last two campaigns.
“It’s my favourite time of the season,” he said. “I’ve missed this feeling over the last two years, to get back to competing at the right end of the table.
“We got bored being a good, middle of the table League 1 team. We showed glimpses of being exceptional, but not enough.
“Now, we’re competing with the bigger teams in this league, and it’s much better doing that. I’d rather be nervous about how other sides are doing than having no relevance on anything in the top part of the table.”
Notts County visit stadium:mk on Saturday. Earlier in the season, Dons escaped Meadow Lane with a 1-0 win, thanks to Daniel Powell’s 31st minute strike.
County started the season well, but a slump in recent months has seen them drop to 19th in the table, hovering just two points above the relegation zone.
“I felt it was a really good win there,” said Robinson. “But since then, Notts County have brought in some really good players. We know it’ll be a hard game. They played three at the back on Tuesday, and we think they’ll do the same here.
“They were flying at the start of the season, but for whatever reason, things haven’t gone their way.”
