Dons boss Robbie Neilson has been nominated for League 1’s Manager of the Month for January.
In only his second month in England, Neilson helped guide Dons to an undefeated month in league competition.
After starting the year with a 0-0 draw away at Chesterfield, Dons ran riot against Northampton, beating the Cobblers 5-3 at Stadium MK.
Arguably the biggest result of the month though came when Dons went to London Road to thump Peterborough 4-0 - their league first win at the ground since 2008.
Neilson won the Scottish Manager of the Month prize for November in his final month in Scotland, taking the prize after his move to Dons.
Neilson is joined in the running for the gong with Scunthorpe manager Graham Alexander after the Iron picked up 10 points, Paul Hurst after he guided his Shrewsbury side to eight points and out of the relegation zone, and Fleetwood’s Uwe Rosler, who helped oversee his side take 13 points from a possible 15.
