LIVE: MK Dons 3-3 Fleetwood Town

22 mins: Huge penalty appeals turned away

Daniel Harvie is furious at the referee after his strike appeared to hit a Fleetwood hand in the penalty area but nothing is given. Troy Parrott is then hauled to the ground just outside the box but again, referee waves appeals away.

20 mins: Goals change games

That goal or Fleetwood has completely sucked the atmosphere out of the ground at Stadium MK - the vocal Cowshed all of a sudden quiet as their side trail. It has been a tough 10 minutes for the home side as the rain lashes down, all with the game being dictated by Fleetwood.

Andrew Fisher has been busy too, throwing himself to his right to deny a decent strike from Paddy Lane from about 20 yards out.

GOAL! 12 mins: Fleetwood take the lead

Ged Garner has slotted Fleetwood into the lead very much against the run of play. A decent passing move from the visitors, their first real action of the game, but Garner beats the offside trap and after drawing out Andrew Fisher, coolly beats the keeper to put the visitors in front.

6 mins: Decent start

Troy Parrott drags his shot just wide there with Watters and Twine in support, but can’t really begrudge him that strike from 18 yards.

Decent start from the home side, they’ve had the most of the ball but haven’t quite been able to unlock the Fleetwood defence.

Parrott predicts goals every time he steps onto the pitch

Who would bet against Troy Parrott scoring at the moment? He’s one of Dons’ form players this season, netting three (or a dubious four if you count that deflected shot at Gillingham as his).

The Republic of Ireland international spoke to the Citizen earlier this week to talk about his start to life at MK Dons since signing on loan from Spurs.
