MK Dons 1-0 AFC Wimbledon: LIVE

Half time: MK Dons 1-0 AFC Wimbledon

Strong finish to the half for the home side. Watson, Twine and Harvie all with efforts to make it 2-0 against the 10-men. A slow opening but they’ve looked good since the goal.

36 mins: AFC Wimbledon down to 10 men

Nesta Guinness-Walker is trudging back to the dressing room early as he picks up his second booking and is sent off! He first took out Tennai Watson, and then Theo Corbeanu to reduce the visitors to 10 for the remainder of the game.

MK Dons struggled to break down the 10-men of Accrington on Saturday but this time have the lead so the visitors will have to play a bit more open at the back if they’re to get anything from this now.

30 mins: Franco! Franco!

Assal is offside but he races through and takes a shot, Ravizzoli makes himself big and denies him anyway.

Cowshed gets behind the keeper!

29 mins: GOAL! MK Dons are in front!

Disaster for keeper Tzanev who loses the ball to Eisa, who picks out Twine crosses but Watson’s touch is loose, picks out O’Riley on the edge who finds the back of the net!

27 mins: MK Dons beginning to get on top of it

Ping-pong in the AFC W penalty area, Twine with a couple of scuffed efforts, O’Hora shapes to shoot, puts it out for Robson who fires over.

20 mins: Dons’ first sight of goal

Great challenge from Robson in the centre of the park to let Eisa free, outside to Corbeanu but he takes it too wide and his shot is blocked. Recycled out for O’Riley who puts it over.

15 mins: A slow start from the home side

They’ve not done an awful lot wrong in these opening 15 minutes, but by the same token, haven’t really done a lot right either.

AFC Wimbledon’s pressing is high and frantic, not leaving a lot of time on the ball for the likes of Robson and O’Riley in the centre, while Harvie and Watson outside are struggling to get much joy either.

5 mins: Tentative start from MK Dons

Not really much happening in these opening five minutes. Cowshed is in full voice, but AFC Wimbledon have had more of the ball.
